Download Cook This Later for your browser from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
2. Create an Account
Sign up for free to sync your recipes across all your devices.
3. Save Your First Recipe
Visit any recipe website, click the Cook This Later extension icon, and your recipe will be saved automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't the extension extracting my recipe correctly?
Some websites use non-standard formats that make automatic extraction difficult. You can manually edit any recipe after saving it. If you find a site that consistently doesn't work, please let us know so we can improve our extraction.
How do I edit a saved recipe?
Open any recipe and click the "Edit" button. You can modify the title, ingredients, instructions, cook times, and add personal notes or tags.
Can I use Cook This Later on my phone?
Yes! While the browser extension requires a desktop browser, you can access all your saved recipes from any device at cookthislater.com. The web app is fully responsive and works great on phones and tablets.
How does the shopping list work?
From any recipe, click "Add to Shopping List" to add its ingredients. The shopping list automatically organizes items by category (produce, dairy, meat, etc.) and combines duplicate ingredients from multiple recipes.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your personal information. The browser extension only accesses page content when you actively click to save a recipe. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@cookthislater.com and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 48 hours.

Troubleshooting
Extension not working?
- Make sure you're logged in to your Cook This Later account
- Try refreshing the page before saving
- Check that the extension has permission to access the site
- Try disabling other extensions that might conflict
Recipes not syncing?
- Check your internet connection
- Try signing out and back in
- Clear your browser cache and reload
